Empire State Winter Games The 2016 Empire State Winter Games is a multi-day sports event that will take place Feb. 4 to 7. In this, its 36th year, the Games brings together athletes from across New York state and beyond to compete in 19 winter sports. The 2015 Games included more than 1,600 athletes of all ages, including master divisions. This year's games will see the addition of the brand new sport of winter bike at Mount Pisgah in Saranac Lake, where spectators will be able to catch all the action. In addition, two freestyle events will be moved to the awesome Titus Mountain, an amazingly spectator-friendly venue in Malone. Big changes are in store for the Games this year, including a brand new Opening Ceremony that will knock your socks off!
