Athletics: Basketball is offered for grades 3-6. Swimming is offered through the after school program. There is early release time for the Lake Placid Ski Program.
Science Fair: This is an exciting night of experiments, demonstrations, research projects and inventions for all young scientists.

Computer Time: With a ratio of 1 computer for every 4 students, children use computers extensively in language arts, for research reports and to enrich math activities.

At SAS all students actively participate in assemblies, prayer services and liturgies. Students have opportunities to perform, read and speak to audiences instilling in them the poise and confidence to speak out as leaders and to ask questions in the classroom.
Service To Others
Throughout the year students mentor younger children, collect food for the food pantry, donate to missions, buy gifts for needy children, sing Christmas carols for elderly residents at Greenwood Apartments and raise money to help save the rain forest.
